Pinnacle Health Group, one of the largest and most prestigious physician-recruiting firms in the country, recently announced that it is working in 23 states and placing physicians in 47 different specialties. This represents approximately one-third of all specialties listed by the American Medical Association and almost one-half of all US states. In addition, PHG announced that it is among the top firms for the placement of cardiologists.
This year alone, PHG has placed several cardiologists in every sub-specialty: interventional, invasive, non-invasive and electrophysiology. One of PHG’s top recruiters, Joe Bishop, has been instrumental in placing a large number of these cardiologists. When asked why he thought Pinnacle was so successful in placing cardiologists, Bishop replied, “The key to success is volume. As a result of our extensive advertising and numerous searches, Pinnacle has a multitude of candidates to work with, therefore we have more opportunities to offer.”
Moving forward, Pinnacle hopes to continue its great tradition of focusing on the needs of physicians and those that hire them. Recently celebrating their seventh anniversary, PHG has continued to grow each year. John R.
