During a recent company trip to Tampa, Pinnacle employees made comfort bags for the patients at Tampa General Hospital. It is a core part of Pinnacle’s mission to give back to not only clients of theirs but patients fighting illnesses as well.
Pinnacle Health Group is honored to provide these hospital comfort bags to
alleviate a part of the stress of being hospitalized.
November of 2019 my oldest son, Will, went from being your typical Senior
in high school – finishing college applications, visiting colleges, enjoying his
friends, working out and playing baseball – to learning he needs to put his
life on hold to fight B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). My family
spent many days and months in the hospital with Will through the ups and
downs and treatments. The volunteers and charity groups that provided
some of our daily needs were invaluable. Will was in and out the hospital for
the better part of two years, but is now in remission and back in school. We
are incredibly grateful for the support of all the healthcare teams.
We hope this bag provides some small comforts.
